This majestic track features a fluid and dynamic synth-heavy arrangement that constantly builds and morphs, evolving from sparse, polyrhythmic beginnings into a triumphant orchestral rock sound that is certain to elevate and invigorate the listener. DesChamp delivers radiant layered vocals that utilize exotic modal melodies and whole-tone scales, conveying profound themes of self-reflection and personal growth while using Psalm 23 as a guidepost for spiritual enlightenment. Regardless of perceived genre preferences, music lovers around the world need to check out Kenny DesChamp's "Bless Them All". Its positive, universal message and unique brand of global fusion make this an easy
recommendation for anyone with two ears, a heart and a soul.
Strongest Points: Outstanding production, solid mix. Great clarity and use of stereo space. Incredible arrangement; almost feels like more of a suite with its many different sections, but there's an excellent continuity and cohesiveness there as well. Very organic composition style, each segment seems to naturally flow right into the next. Fantastic intro, lovely rhythmic and tonal tapestry. By the time the vocal enters, the listener is already enraptured. Gorgeous melody and brilliant vocal performance/production. Lyrics are simply transcendent, perfectly suited for the grand scale of the work. The themes of introspection and spiritual salvation are as universal as they come, and DesChamp offers them up in such a very poetic and tuneful fashion. Magnificent final movement/outro; it's an excellent culmination of many of the musical ideas and elements that were presented throughout the piece, very satisfying resolution to a nearly 8 minute journey. All in all, this was a tremendous endeavor and a terrific composition. Absolutely amazing job, from top to bottom!

lyrics

Deep in the valley of the highest mountain,
Protected by the ones who came before me.
I sit in quiet contemplation and with the deepest gratitude,
I thank the spirits of my ancestors who always guide me.

God bless them all.

I can hear my father’s voice but I’m just a child.
And my parents’ voices are as clear as all the ones before
And this is what they said:
“At the moment all is well, be focused, stay the course,
Don’t look back or sideways
And know your truth.
Look at the light, then look beyond the light
To see the ones who’ll be guided by you.”

Now as I hear my mother’s voice sing the 23rd Psalm of David,
My fear falls away and I lie down on green pastures.
When I wake to see the mountain and the storms that have gathered there,
I stand and follow the path that was laid before me and arrive triumphant.

God bless them all.
